What age can we vaccinate your puppy/kitten?

Puppies

From 6 weeks of age. However, usually, vaccines are given at 8,10 and 12 weeks of age.

Kittens

From 8-9 weeks of age with a 2nd dose 3-4 weeks later.

Rabbits

From 5 weeks of age.

What age do we recommend neutering your pet?

Neutering is usually performed from 6 months of age, however our vets will assess your individual pet's size, age and breed.

In some circumstances a little earlier or later may be recommended. Please ring and speak to one of our friendly team.

How do I request a repeat prescription for long term medication?

Please call and speak to one of our reception team to request a repeat prescription or complete our online form. These requests will be checked and dispensed by one of our vets and may take up to 48 hours to be ready for collection.

Pets will legally need to be checked over by one of our vets every 6 months to remain on prescription-only medications long term, however, some conditions may need more regular monitoring.

For prescription-only flea and worming treatments, a check-up every 12 months is acceptable.

How can I register my pet with you?

To register your pet with us, please either fill in our online form or call and speak to one of our helpful team.

If we have not seen any pets of yours previously, we will need to register you on our system by taking some basic details like your name, address and contact details. We will then ask to take details of your pet such as name, age and breed.

If your pet has been previously registered at another vet practice we will need to contact them for your pet's clinical history and vaccination dates. Due to data protection, you will need to let your previous vets know that you are happy for them to transfer this history to us.

Once registered, we can then book any relevant consultations as needed.
